Black Pudding Sausage Roll
Rich, savoury, and satisfyingly crisp – this black pudding sausage roll combines Plant S Oat Flour pastry with seasoned pork, herbs, and black pudding for a gourmet twist on a comforting classic.

Ingredients
- 175g Plant S Oat Flour
- 85g diced butter
- 3 tbsp cold water
- 50g black pudding
- 150g pork mince
- 50g diced onion
- Chopped fresh thyme
- Chopped fresh sage
- Salt
- Milled black pepper
Method
- Crumb the flour and butter
- Add the water to form a dough
- Knead until smooth
- Clingfilm and place in the fridge
- Mix the black pudding, pork mince, diced onion and chopped herbs
- Season well
- Remove dough from the fridge and roll out to a rectangle
- Place the mixture on the pastry and roll over to form a sausage roll
- Crimp the edges, score the top and brush with egg wash
- Place into a hot over 180°C for 25 minutes
- Once cooked remove from the oven and allow to rest
- Slice and serve warm with a little spiced apple chutney
