Chilli and Cheese Straws

Serves 2-4
Transform simple ingredients into a flavourful snack with this recipe:
Ingredients
- 150g unsalted butter (cold)
- 225g Plant S Yellow Pea Flour
- 75g pecorino cheese
- A pinch of chilli flakes
Method
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
- Cut the butter into cubes and add to a bowl with the Plant S Yellow Pea Flour, rub them together until it forms a bread crumb consistency.
- Finely grate pecorino then add to the butter and flour along with the chilli flakes. Mix together.
- Add one teaspoon at a time of cold water and mix until a dough (you’ll need 2-4).
- Roll out the dough between two pieces of parchment paper about 1cm thick, cut into a rectangle and then slice into strips.
- Place on the lined baking tray and sprinkle some more pecorino on top then bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
